Tammy Moore - Professional Development Presentations
Aside from administrating, training, teaching, and course development at VHSG, over the last several years I have been fortunate enough to give many professional development webinars related to Elluminate/Collaborate, Moodle, and various curriculum. This page is a scrapbook page of sorts on the varied seminars I have moderated or been a guest presenter or panelist for.

The Adobe Learning Summit was such a pleasure to attend and to be a session presenter. If you have never been able to attend one of these, I highly recommend planning to attend one of these annual events. It is co-located with the DevLearn event which is also well worth attending.

Role: Guest Presenter
URL of event description and recording link: http://nrocnetwork.org/moodle-orientation-instructors: http://nrocnetwork.org/moodle-orientation-instructors
NROC's Algebra 1 curriculum had an option for instructors in which they could run their courses from Remote Learner's Moodle system. Many of the instructors were new to Moodle, so I was asked to help get them oriented to Moodle to get them up and running with their new course page.

The Apologia series is very popular with home school families, but moving in to the next level up can make a teaching mom want to dig in to learning what will be needed for the upcoming school year. Tips were also shared related to co-ops, microscope purchases, chemistry lab gear, and more.

Description:
THis presentation originated as an idea to help our VHSG project students and families discover this wonderful tool for note-taking. It became obvious that there was a lot of interest at LearnCentral as well, so I ran this presentation in the Host Your Own room that LearnCentral ran at that time for public events for the educator's community. We had a mixed attendance from both groups that night.
