Collaborate Wbd Files
The file extension wbd is what is used for whiteboard files in Collaborate. I have loaded up my whiteboard resources at Box.net (see the download interface below) where you can get copies of my wbds as well as get to the raw graphics files and instructions/teacher's notes. The raw graphics files typically are in the Adobe Illustrator (.ai extension) or Photoshop (.psd) format. If you have those software tools, you can even get in to modify the original files. All files are under a CC-BY license.
As to types of wbd files that you can find in there, I have science lab gear sets like the one to the left. I made the glassware with transparency, so you can actually see through it to the images behind it. Glassware imagery like that is really hard to find on the net, even on stock photo sites. I also have interactive activities and even a few swfs that I made that accompany specific wbd sets. If I have a recording of a wbd set, that will be listed in there too.
