Adobe Photoshop
Portrait client dropping in to Elluminate to watch progress
I came to Photoshop use after working many years in traditional media, so most of my early Photoshop portraits were created using the same techniques that I used when working with watercolor. The nice thing about Photoshop though is that it takes less physical space than traditional media and the magic of the undo button allows me to be more bold in my explorations. In watercolor, you cannot undo a mistake, so you must work carefully and not take too many risks unless you have the time to scrap a piece that wasn't so successful an experiment. Time is something I tend to be a little short on with raising a family, homeschooling, and volunteering 40 plus hours at Virtual Homeschool Group.
Below are two slide sets. One is for the illustrations that are made for VHSG for courses and the other is of my portraits. I was a portrait artist and illustrator before becoming involved with VHSG. :0)
